Legal Information – Your Donations

The following information is our donations policy and explains the conditions of your donation payment.

Your donation is made in Australian Dollars (AUD).

The full amount of your once-off donation is for immediate payment. If you select a recurring payment subscription you will be charged that amount once immediately and again on an ongoing monthly basis until you cancel your subscription. If you select an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment, you will receive a tax invoice which you must pay by EFT within 7 days.

Donations are generally non-refundable.

ROMAC only accepts donations, which are deemed to be gifts. ROMAC does not deliver products or services in return for donations.

ROMAC is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). To be tax deductible, a donor cannot receive any benefit from the donation.

ROMAC’s website uses security protocols, such as encryption, to protect our Donation form data and also a test to differentiate between humans and machines. Your credit card information is transmitted directly to a trusted payment gateway and is not transmitted to our servers. 

We require some additional information when you donate, so we can identify donors, donation types and to send receipts, tax invoices and other related information back to donors. This is usually limited to name, address, organisation, phone and email address.

We have created this statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following sections disclose the information gathering and dissemination practices that are operating on our website. 

This site adheres to and supports the Australian National Privacy Principles (amendment to Privacy Act 1988).

This website only collects personal information that is necessary for the function of site activities.

When you visit this website, we may make a record of your visit and log some or all of the following information for statistical or maintenance purposes:

Your server or IP address (the name or number which uniquely identify the computer through which you are connected to the Internet)
