Brendan is a retired Police Senior Sergeant First Class from Adelaide.

Brendan joined the Rotary Club of Unley in 2019. Prior to this though Brendan was routinely a member of a Rotary Eye Camp team operating throughout Nepal. The experiences there led both Brendan and his wife Bronwyn to join the ROMAC Central Region Committee in 2020 where Brendan undertook the Secretary role until 2023.

Married to Bronwyn who is an active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of McLaren Vale, they have two adult children and three grandchildren. Brendan is a keen hiker and in 2022 completed the 1200km-long Heysen Trail in Adelaide.
