John Shattock has had award-winning careers in journalism and public relations. His experience includes marketing communications, market research, government communications and even selling real estate.

His interest in computing spans server management, relational database development, and now in retirement, WordPress website strategy, development and administration.

Born a Kiwi, he moved to Western Australia 14 years ago and is now an Australian citizen. He is married to Julie and together they have two adult children and three grand-children, all living in WA.

No longer competing as a road cyclist, he still rides around 250 km a week “to keep the wheels turning”.
